•As a medicine in coughs and pectoral affections.
•In hard dry coughs where expectoration in difficult it is of much value.
•It has a proven beneficial action on the bronchial tubes.
•stimulant and carminative.
Anise is used in:
•In having spasmolytic and antibacterial effects
•being used for upset stomach ,but its effectiveness for this problem remains unproven .
•Dry cough
•bronchitis
•sore throat and tendency to infection
•Indigestion, flatulence and colic
